Ezra Levy

Rabbi Ezra Levy, Ed.D., is a dedicated and highly esteemed member of our board, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to our organization.

Since May 2003, Dr. Levy has served as the Executive Director and Head of School at Kesher, a role he has excelled in for nearly two decades. His journey with Kesher began at its inception in 1995, and he has not only provided leadership but also actively contributed to the education at Kesher, teaching in both the Secular and Judaic departments.

Dr. Levy's educational journey is both extensive and impressive. His academic background includes an undergraduate degree in Judaic Studies, a Master's Degree in Special Education, and a Doctorate in Education with a focus on curriculum and instruction. This educational foundation reflects his deep commitment to providing high-quality education and support to students.

In addition to his role at Kesher, Dr. Levy plays a pivotal role in enhancing the educational landscape beyond the school's borders. He directs supplementary school Judaic programming for children with special needs through the Broward County Central Agency for Jewish Education (CAJE). This demonstrates his dedication to making education inclusive and accessible to all learners.

Furthermore, Dr. Levy's impact extends to the broader community. He has directed a Sunday religious school tailored to immigrants from the former Soviet Union, demonstrating a commitment to cultural inclusivity and providing educational opportunities to diverse communities.
