Joshua Repensek


Joshua Repensek, a Miami native, is the Executive Director of the Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF), where he has driven significant growth and strengthened member engagement. Under his leadership, AISF has expanded its services and streamlined processes, including the creation of an accreditation portal and an online teacher continuing education program. Joshua also represents AISF as an Executive Board member of the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) and serves on the board of the Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools (FAANS), bringing national-level insights to improve the independent school community in Florida.

Known for his ethical leadership and focus on continuous improvement, Joshua works closely with state officials and education stakeholders to advocate for policies that benefit independent schools. He consistently seeks ways to strengthen school operations, promote educational excellence, and introduce new ideas and strategies that help schools adapt and grow. His work at both state and national levels ensures that member schools have a strong voice in education policy and access to resources that support their long-term success.

Growing up, Joshua was inspired by his mother, a visionary in the field of education, which sparked his deep-rooted passion for learning and leadership. Watching her dedication and impact fueled his commitment to helping schools thrive and created a lifelong respect for the transformative power of education. This foundation continues to guide his work and dedication to the independent school community.
