A native New Yorker, Peter was raised in Miami, Florida after being transplanted as a toddler. Coming from a long line of educators, Peter received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University with a concentration on developmental psychology. He then received his law degree from New York University School of Law before moving back to South Florida. Peter left a career in commercial litigation to pursue his true passion – education. Serving as the Associate Director of Riviera Schools from 1996 to 2019 and as its current Director, Peter has committed himself to providing students with the most meaningful educational experience possible. He joined the Board of Directors of AISF in 2002, served as the Treasurer from 2005 to 2016, and was elected to the presidency in 2016.
