Elisabela Valls


Elisabela A. Valls is the Communications Director at Conchita Espinosa Academy, a private K3 through eighth grade school in Miami with an adjacent Conservatory of the Arts, from where she is also a proud alumna (class of 2000). Elisabela has a B.A. in philosophy and English literature from the University of Miami, an M.B.A. from Nova Southeastern University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership and Innovation from New York University. 
 
Before transitioning to education, Elisabela spent several years in various sales and marketing roles in the corporate sector. Among her responsibilities, she was responsible for the adult learning and professional development for the sales personnel in her region. She has also been involved in the arts sector through various non-profit organizations and teaching dance, and is an adjunct professor at New York University Steinhardt School of Education, Culture, and Human Development.
 
At Conchita Espinosa Academy, Elisabela has taught fifth grade critical thinking, seventh and eighth grade philosophy, and eighth grade English. She has been a member of the administration at CEA since 2013. As an administrator, she has held various leadership roles in communications, marketing, and admissions in both the Academy and Conservatory. She is passionate about education and the role of the arts as part of human development. Elisabela joined the board of AISF in 2024.
