INTRODUCTION:
In order to become accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of Florida (AISF), a school must be inspected by an AISF Evaluation Committee. Self-evaluation is an intrinsic and vital part of a school’s AISF accreditation process, and each school uses this Self-study as a tool to assess itself prior to a visit by an Evaluation Committee. In turn, the Committee uses the completed Self-study as a point of reference for its inspection of the school.
This form is based upon current AISF Standards of Accreditation and will serve as a basis for the final report submitted by the Evaluation Committee to AISF’s Board of Directors. In addition, schools may use this Self-study between formal AISF evaluations as a baseline by which the schools can measure growth.
As you complete this form, please remember that every school in AISF has been through this process. Your questions are welcome. You may contact the Chairperson of your Evaluation Committee at any time for clarification. Please take the time to review the AISF Bylaws and Standards for Accreditation thoroughly before beginning the accreditation or re-accreditation process.
